Application license

Work Hours & Pay uses Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) when distributed through the App Store. The linked agreement governs the application license. This page explains the product; it is not a replacement custom EULA.

A personal estimate, not payroll

The app helps you keep your own work records and estimate gross pay from the information and rules you enter. Estimates are before tax and deductions. Optional overtime is a per-shift assumption you configure, not an automatic application of employment law, weekly overtime, or a collective agreement.

A difference between your estimate and an entered payslip amount is a comparison, not proof of underpayment or a legal entitlement. Check dates, included tips, pay rules, deductions, and your employer’s pay-period method before drawing conclusions. The app does not provide tax, financial, employment, or legal advice.

Your records and exports

You are responsible for checking entered data and retaining any records you need. The app does not connect to an employer or submit payroll on your behalf. CSV exports are copies you choose to create and share. Device backup settings and third-party destinations are outside the app’s control.

Availability and purchases

The app is currently in development and is not yet offered on the App Store. Production products and prices are not enabled. If paid features become available, the app will show the applicable price and access terms before an Apple purchase confirmation. Do not treat an example or development screenshot as a live offer.

For any future auto-renewing subscription, Apple will display its billing period and price. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled in your Apple Account. An offered lifetime unlock, if available, is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Apple explains subscription cancellation here.
